I was disappointed but not surprised several weeks ago when I read that Reno Republican Mayor Bob Cashell was actively taking part in a fundraiser for Sen. Harry Reid, on the same date and at the same time that the Nevada GOP was holding a state central committee meeting and dinner right down the road. Cashell is a Republican, and not just any Republican. He is a former Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party.
